A Culinary tour of Anglo-Indian

We all know the Anglo Indian tales but how many of you have actually tasted Anglo Indian food? I bet not many!

Our first tryst with Anglo Indian cuisine was during a recent visit to K3 at JW Marriott Aerocity. K3 has a special 10 day festival in collaboration with the renowned connoisseur of Anglo Indian Cuisine and author of cookery books, Ms. Bridget White Kumar. You can taste her old colonial recipes as part of the regular buffet at K3 (apart from the regular buffet offerings) and will surely thank us later 😉

Some dishes to look forward to during the 10-day festival:

The spicy and perfectly tender Pork Vindaloo, Aubergine and Potato Vindaloo, the Oh-so-yummy Fish curry, flowy Railway mutton curry, Dak Bunglow Chicken Curry.

Some yummy desserts include Bread pudding and the not-to be-missed Steamed Ginger pudding.

For a complete colonial Anglo-Indian feast, there is an array of mocktails and cocktails on the menu and we totally recommend you to try the Roorkee Trunk (Champagne with mango caviars) and Zova (Hibiscus tea with Tequila).

For the curious and hungry souls, Anglo-Indian cuisine is better tried than described! Find more details below:
