Cress Bistro for a relaxed and reasonable meal in Delhi

Looking for a place to laze around? Here’s one in Delhi for a value for money , relaxed meal…CRESS BISTRO.

Situated in the Porsche area of GK-3 surrounded by fine gentry; we sat under the sky. The experience was simply scintillating.

Given the melange of options we began the evening with green apple virgin mojito befitting the weather; followed by a round of shakes : oreo shake being my choice.

Setting the mood, the appetizers towed in; garlic bread cheezy chicken which was topped with juicy chicken and sheets of cheese. The garlic bread was so chezzy that it left us asking for more and the next dish came to us a surprise; mushroom galouti , round crispy chapattis topped with ever melting mushroom galouti kebab. It was well complimented with green mint chutney. The mushroom galouti was just as soft as lucknowi kebabs melting on our tounges. The next round of appetizers included; corn tempura wasabi was an assortment of corn and veggies which included all the right ingredients but tinge of spices could have made the dish better. Followed up by classic steamed dimsum which as the name suggests were classic in the truest sense and had a soft covering filled with juicy chicken granules which completed the whole package.

For our sweet tooth craving we had bulls eye (triple layer dessert with vanilla ice cream sandwiched between chocolate sauce and walnut brownie) and banana cheese cake.

Head to cress bistro for a laid back evening or a lazy Sunday brunch!
