Sorrento , one of the finest places in Delhi for Italian (Shangri-La’s – Eros Hotel, New Delhi) has another feather in its hat. This time, Sorrento made its diners and Italian lovers happy by getting Michelin star chef Roccardo Sculli all the way from Italy!
From 24th Feb to 28th Feb’17, the diners got to taste the world renowned specialties of Chef Riccardo such as Carpaccio di Aragosta e verdure (Lobster carpaccio with seasonal salad and tomato gelè) and Risotto allo zafferano con mud granchio e ribes rosso (Saffron risotto, mud crab and red currants). For dinner, a special degustation menu had been designed by chef Riccardo, starring culinary masterpieces such as Costoletta di agnello con carciofi e liquirizia (Rack of lamb with artichokes and liquorice) and Pollo ruspante con peperoni e arancia (Free-range chicken with peppers and orange)

We were a part of the masterclass by Chef Riccardo where in he cooked some of these and boy, calling them a tasty or yummy would be an understatement!
A pretty place, finest dishes and the experience of learning from the chef himself .. we can’t wait to have him back and look forward to more such events by the Eros group to make its customers !
