Pipeline Cafe-Satyaniketan

Food: 4.5/5

Service: 4/5

Ambience: 4.5/5

Price: 4.5/5

Overall: 4.5/5

There are only a few places in Satyaniketan, South Delhi, that I genuinely recommend and this is one of them! This was my third visit to this cafe that itself speaks volumes of how good and value for money the food is here. Also, the variety is large! Every time I ordered different things and none has disappointed till date. Needless to say, I end up paying peanuts for the big portions here!

Ambience is rustic with unpainted walls, pipelines all over, a large wall with a lot if niches and quirky things. A small joint with seating for about 30 people, is always bustling with people (mostly college students) and good music.

Coming to the food, I highly highly recommend the brownie shake (5/5) here! All the shakes like the kit kat shake and oreo shake are yum but my personal favorite is the brownie shake! It is thick due to blended brownie and loaded with brownie chunks on top. Try this!

Pump it up Pizza (4.5/5) had cheese inserted in the crust! Super nice! Never had such a pizza at a cafe (only at Dominoes) making this a must try again.

Butter chicken spring rolls (4/5) were yum! Crisp, non oily spring rolls stuffed with chicken and served with butter chicken gravy. Less sweet and more salty unlike a regular butter chicken but apt for this spring roll as sweet wouldn’t have tasted good. Liked it.

Peri Peri Veg Satay (3.5/5) is good for spice lovers. It is super hot! sticks with veggies and coated with peri peri sauce.

Crispy chicken Popups (4/5), Small fried balls stuffed with cheese and chicken. Does this need more explanation? It was Good!

Chicken Stronagoff (4/5), a Russian dish, made well by a cafe in Delhi! Creamy sauce with chicken chunks and herbed rice. Liked it!

Banoffee Pie (4/5), quite nice! The layers were neat and toffee was perfect. unlike most, this didn’t have cinnamon and that’s what I liked about it!

Chocolate Maquis (4/5), more like a Tiramisu and tasted good when served chilld. I liked it. it was aptly sweet and the texture was smooth.
