Pan Asian, a place I had heard of so much but never got a chance to visit. Finally, I visited recently and boy, the place did live up to its reputation! Chef Vaibhav Bhargava has done a commendable job with the oriental flavors (Chinese, Thai and Japanese) and most of the dishes I had were new to me and tasted fab.
This restaurant, on the first floor of Sheraton Hotel, Saket, is sprawling and we chose the best table. It was a private area over-looking the lush green plants. Modern and plush décor overall and the pictures below would give you a better idea.
Coming to the food, We ate a variety of dishes with my favorites being the Pad thai noodles perfectly done with peanut flavor , chicken sui mai dumplings (open dumpling) which were soft, thin coating juicy and yum and the chocolate dome. Chocolate dome is one thing you just can’t miss here! A thin dome housing a cheesecake. It was melted by pouring warm vanilla milk revealing the cheese cake…absolute food porn!
We also had Sea bass Dumpling, Salmon Sushi, Marinated Tofu and Avocado and Micro Cress salad.
While the salad was very light and fit for people who are into health and salads. Something different and leafy. Salmon sushi was one of the best that I have had! Not dry, a lot of salmon on top and fresh! Marinated Tofu was very soft from inside.
The perfect meal ender was the Family Dessert which had an assortment of fruits like dragon fruit, lichies, kiwi etc , some ice cream, some cake and tiny servings of fruit tart, mouse cake and chocolate cake. This platter is aptly named as it has something for everyone in it.
Overall, the place is for proper fine dining over good food and I recommend this place for a family dinner or a formal date. I am taking my family here the next time! J
