Majeed’s, I had heard about it through a friend and decided to order finally. They are a ‘Delivery-Only’ Service with several branches all over Delhi but the nearest to my house of the Vasant Kunj outlet.
The person taking the order over phone was courteous and patient while decided and my order was delivered to me bang on time in a van. All of it was packed decently well in foil containers. The packaging could be a little better by replacing foil with plastic maybe. That is more sturdy to hold the contents.
Kakori Kebab: The best kakori kebab that I have had! it was superrr soft and had a strong taste of kewra (rose) in it. Got 4 pieces in the plate and it was lovely. 5/5 from my side.
Mutton Seekh: Mutton seekh wasn’t as soft as Kakori but tasted good. Kakori still beats it hands down. This has scope to be softer and juicier.
Tandoori Chicken: Was well marinated and the flavours were deep in the chicken. It was spicy so spice lovers will like it.
Chicken Biryani: Was large in quantity and cooked in a dum. It was served in the dum handi as it is keeping the flavours intact. It was made in ghee and had a good amount of saffron in it. Tasted good!
Chicken Korma: Chicken korma was medium spiced and had a thick brown curry. Liked it with rice and parantha.
Overall, Majeed’s food was worth the penny I paid and I am definitely ordering the biryani and kakori kebab again and would mind having the other things again as well 🙂 Try out these things and let me know how you find them by commenting or emailing at firstname.lastname@example.org
