Pasta Bowl Company, a place that was on my wishlist since really long due to the good reviews all over the internet! I finally visited this place with a friend and the place did live up to expectations and did justice to the rating online.
Situated on the second floor of CrossPoint Malll in DLF Phase 4 (Right opposite Galleria Market). It is a small place with seating for just about 27-18 people. It is a bright place with ample sun light , simple chairs and wooden tables, large frames with pictures of Italy against white walls. I was told by the server that the restaurant is expanding and will become bigger in the next few months. Construction is on in full swing 🙂
We ordered some shakes followed by two mains and a dessert:
Caramangello: Fresh Mango shake with whipped cream and caramel sauce…too sweet for my liking…even though I am a person who liked sweet things! After a few sips, I had to leave it.
Mirtilli: Blueberry shake with whipped cream. It was nice and I could taste the freshly crushed blueberries in it. (It was course). It had less sugar in it and that’s what I really liked.
Siciliano Robustico: This was a panini,a flat bread sandwich (we opted for focaccia bread which has some herbs and bell peppers on top usually). The bread was itself so fresh and yum with the above topping . The sandwich had egg plant, tomatoes, onions and bell peppers in it..tasted good.
Cannelloni Ripieni Di Fungli Con Salsa Di Formaggio Affumicato: Ok…the name is pretty long but basically it was a baked , creamy white sauce pasta with pasta rolls in it. Each roll (3 of them) was stuffed with mushrooms and cheese . It was served with a garlic bread on the side. This dish was quite wholesome and yum.
Banoffee Pie: This was shaped like a small pie but the helping was really small for the price they charged for it (Rs. 195++). The taste was nice though it was minus the whipped cream. It was crushed cookies moulded in the shape of a tart and filled with toffee (which was amazingly good) and bananas.
Overall, I think the food is good here but just a little tweaks with the taste of the shakes and reduction of prices will make me a regular here! I do recommend the food to all and wish to try more things soon. 🙂
One of my favourite places to eat in Gurgaon. They have since expanded but it’s only a tiny shop two doors down. You have read my review on my blog if you like.
