Entourage-Defence Colony,Delhi

Entourage…the newly launched lounge is Defence colony is a must visit for all sitcom lovers! Even if you aren’t a fan, you can visit for the amazing food. I loved the main course dishes and I am definitely going back soon for more!

Entourage is a sitcom themed lounge with large posters of your favourite TV shows adorning the walls. They have special cocktails for every TV show for example, Dexter has bloody mary and Narcos has mojito (served in a bullet shaped Glass). Nice concept for a lounge.

The food at Entourage is quite good and exceeded my expectation from a lounge.

Zee German salad: Crunchy due to the leaves and sweet due to the raisins, liked this combination.

The ying yang soup was presented beautifully in bread bowl like its served in English towns. Named ying yang since the soup was half carrot and half broccoli and it was even presented that way. you could see the distinction clearly (like a ying yang). The broccoli part was better and more flavory while the carrot part was mediocre as I found it a little thin.

Thai spring rolls (veg) were served with lovely dip and tasted good with that. individually , they were fried well and had a subtle flavor of lemon grass.

Fully loaded pizza(veg) was good as the crust was crisp and the topping was done lavishly with mushrooms, bell peppers, tomatoes and cheese.

Vegetable Risotto(veg) was a class apart! I loved every bit of it! Cooked well and had caramelized onions, some veggies and grated parmesan on top.

Pan grilled fish steak on Leak compote with caramelized onions: Oh so good!! Perfectly cooked sole fish on a bed of mash potatoes, leak compote and caramelized onions on the side…Simply amazing!!!! The mild sweetness made it even better.

Parmesan Crusted Lamb Chops glazed with red wine was very well cooked. The combination with grilled potatoes on the side made it even better as lamb and potatoes taste great together.

Overall, Entourage is great and a must visit for the food and overall experience. The only thing I found a little off was the fact that the sofas, cutlery and crockery were a little too formal for a lounge.:) But, this is something that an easily skipped when the other factors are so good.
