Fine food , Irish ambience, great service and quite an innovative menu!
Inspired by Irish pubs, I think it a great place for a chilled out scene with friends or a nice family dinner. Can be visited by all groups. The semi open terrace is my favourite portion of the place as it gets ample sunlight and since it’s covered, you can enjoy sitting outdoors even in summers.
~~ Dahi ke kebab: very soft and melted in the mouth! nice flavour of chilli and coriander
~~Balls on fire: Lamb balls in tomato base and feta, was heavenly! the lamb was very well cooked and the tomatoes were cooked to perfection!
~~ Med prawns: Prawns in mildly sweet orange curry (tomato curry) with garlic was lip smacking! garnished with parsley
~~Chicken parmiggina: Crumb fried chicken topped with ham and mozzarella and then baked. Lovely burst of flavour in the mouth and the chicken was quite juicy. chicken tasted great with mozzarella. this was served with salad and fries as accompaniments
~~Blue cheese naan with daal makhani: Next level of presenting indian food! baby naans with daal in tiny glass cups… oh so lovely! I am not a fan of daal but this dish made me one. baby naans stuffed with blue cheese and topped with pineapple was wholesome in itself but daal along with it was a plus. the daal was super creamy! cheese, naan, pineapple and daal, amazing combo!
~~Chicken chorizo croquets: Super soft and yum croquet and definitely one of the best that I have had at any restaurant. The cheese and chicken tasted amazing together and the amount of cheese was quite good.
~~Herb chicken pizza: simple and non fuss pizza which had a crispy crust. only herbs (basil, thyme and oregano) made for the topping along with cheese of course.
~~Mac and cheese (non veg version comes with bacon): I had both the veg and non veg versions , the only difference being the bacon. superrrrr cheesy mac and the herbs added a great flavour. recommended!
~~Shepherd’s pie: I had shepherd’s pie for the first time and loved it! minced lamb topped with mashed potatoes and baked….mouthgasm! highly highly recommended. lamb was super fresh and tasted amazing with potatoes.
~~Chicken steak burger : A huge fillet of grilled chicken in the bun with iceberg, lettuce and tomato but the thing that made it different from usual burgers was the beetroot inside it. made it more juicy and added a crunch
~~Fish steak burger: Grilled sole fish with tartar was amazing! the steak was so thick!
~~Banana 2 Ways: Banana cake, caramelized bananas & coconut mousse, this was unique but i didn’t like it that much as i am not a fan of coconut and found the caramel a little less.
Overall, I simply loved the food and the entire feel of the place! khan market now has a gem and I would surely go back for some fine food!
